When you’re in a depressed mood, putting on Summer Skin by Death Cab For Cutie is literally the worst thing you could possibly do  (hey I’m in a shitty mood, let me put on something to make me even more sad). This song is so fucking sad, just listening to it over and over again, the words just sink inside me. “I knew your heart I couldn’t win cause the seasons change was a conduit and we left our love in our summer skin.” God it gets me every time. Sometimes you just have to be sad for awhile to get happy again. On the plus side, I always write more when I get like this.
